We're Ready for an Amazing First Day of School Tomorrow!
Posted Date: 08/05/26 (08:57 PM)
Dear Heritage Families,
The wait is almost over—we are excited to welcome our Rams back to school tomorrow for the first day of an incredible new school year!
As you prepare for the morning, please review these important arrival reminders:
- Car line opens at 7:10 a.m. and closes promptly at 7:35 a.m.
- School begins at 7:40 a.m. We encourage families to arrive a little early on the first day to allow extra time for traffic and to help ensure students are in their classrooms and ready to learn when the school day begins.
- This year we will be operating a single morning car line, which will unload students in front of the gym.
- The bus lane is reserved for buses only and should not be used for student drop-off.
- Please drive slowly and be especially watchful for our students, staff, and families walking through the parking lot and crosswalks.
- If you arrive after 7:35 a.m., please park your vehicle and walk your child into the front office to check in.
We are excited to share that breakfast will be free for all students who would like to eat at school this year. Students who are eating breakfast should report directly to the cafeteria upon arrival. Our staff will help ensure they arrive safely and make it to class on time.
Kindergarten Families:
Parents are welcome to walk their kindergarten students to class on Thursday and Friday of this week. After dropping off your child, we invite you to join our PTA for our annual Boo Hoo Breakfast in the library. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and enjoy a light breakfast while celebrating this exciting milestone.
Grades 1–5:
Students in grades 1–5 will walk to their classrooms independently. Don't worry—we will have plenty of Heritage staff members throughout the building to greet students, help them find their classrooms, and make sure everyone gets where they need to be.
We can't wait to welcome everyone back and begin another year of learning, leadership, and growth. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure a safe, smooth, and successful start to the school year.
Here's to a fantastic first week and an amazing 2026–2027 school year! See you tomorrow!
