I have been a Speech/Language Pathologist since 1979.  I am nationally certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).  I obtained my Certificate of Clinical Compentence (SLP-CCC) in 1981.  I hold an Alabama Teacher's Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology and Alabama License to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

I have worked for Lincoln County School Systems, Dept. of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS) in Germany, Madison County Schools, Huntsville City Schools, and Madison City Schools for the past 20 years.  I have also worked for Nova Care in Skilled Nursing Facilities with stroke patients and also currently continue to work for a rehab company with stroke patients in Huntsville.

I grew up in Portland, Oregon.  My first job as a Speech-Language Pathologist was in Waldport, Oregon, which is on the Oregon coast.  I met my husband, Jon in Waldport, where he was a forester.  My husband is from a small town south of Boston.  My husband and I have been married for 33 years.  We have two children.
